A closer look at Lovescape
Product details, pricing, policies, and the questions that still need hands-on testing.
Lovescape is a web-based AI companion platform for realistic and anime characters, with chat, customization, images, video, voice messages, and roleplay. Its verified paid offers are annual commitments with monthly Chip allowances, while a complete current month-to-month plan grid is not established.
This Research Review is built from the current first-party record and its prepared research pack. CompanionScope has not completed a hands-on Scope Test.
What is Lovescape?
Lovescape documents custom companion creation, basic chat, generated media, voice messages, and roleplay. Web access is available in the record. Native iOS and Android availability remains Unknown.
The platform supports adult-oriented interaction with restrictions and moderation, and its current minimum-age requirement is 18. Capability availability does not establish quality, continuity, or moderation behavior in practice.
Annual plans and Chip allowances
Free access is documented for character creation, basic chat, and some limited generation, although exact limits remain incomplete. Premium annual costs $71.88 in total and includes 600 Chips per month. Creative PRO annual costs $359.88 in total and includes 3,000 Chips per month.
Those are billed annual totals, not month-to-month prices. The current record does not establish a complete monthly subscription grid, so the annual prices should not be silently divided and presented as independently purchasable monthly offers.
Lovescape also documents Chip packages: 500 Chips for $9.99, 1,375 for $24.99, 3,000 for $49.99, 6,250 for $99.99, 13,000 for $199.99, and 21,000 for $299.99.
Why True Cost remains partial
The subscription and package prices provide useful boundaries, but universal current image and video Chip costs were not sufficiently established. Without dependable per-feature consumption, the monthly allowance cannot be converted into a representative number of outputs.
Real cost will depend on which media features a person uses, how often generation is repeated, and whether purchased Chips are required. CompanionScope therefore leaves True Cost as Partial and does not construct a monthly scenario from missing inputs.
Memory comes with published limitations
Lovescape documents conversational memory and markets Creative PRO with more advanced memory. It also states that older information can be forgotten and inconsistencies can appear in long conversations.
That acknowledgment is useful, but it still does not quantify recall or compare the tiers. A hands-on test should examine short- and long-term facts, corrections, contradictions, conversation returns, and whether the PRO tier produces a meaningful change.
Images, video, voice and roleplay
Images, video, voice messages, and roleplay are documented. The current evidence does not measure output quality, character consistency, generation speed, voice naturalness, or how frequently a generation must be retried.
Those performance questions also affect cost. A nominal Chip allowance can feel very different depending on consumption and retry behavior, so media economics should be tested together with media quality.
Adult capability is restricted
Adult text and mature media are documented with restrictions and moderation. The service is not represented here as unrestricted. The available policies establish an 18+ boundary and moderation framework, but not the exact practical limits for every interaction or media mode.
Chat storage and privacy need clarification
One first-party description says chat history is stored to support conversational continuity. Separate first-party material says chat histories are not permanently stored unless explicitly saved. The relationship between those statements has not been independently clarified.
Lovescape also publishes claims about private chats, encryption, limited permanent storage, and interactions not being used for training. CompanionScope preserves those as platform statements rather than upgrading them into a verified no-log or end-to-end-encryption guarantee.
The distinction matters because memory and storage are related but not identical. A Scope Test can inspect visible controls and deletion behavior, but technical data flows will still depend on current legal and privacy documentation.
What remains unknown
The current gaps include:
- a complete current monthly subscription grid;
- universal image and video Chip consumption rates;
- exact free-access limits;
- native iOS and Android availability;
- practical memory differences between tiers;
- conversation, media, voice, roleplay, and moderation performance; and
- how the two chat-storage descriptions apply in practice.
Research Review conclusion
Lovescape documents a broad companion and media feature set with clear annual totals, recurring Chip allowances, and published Chip packages. Its largest decision gaps are month-to-month availability, per-feature Chip use, and the relationship between its chat-storage statements.
This record supports a careful description of the offer, not a value verdict. A future Scope Test must connect media quality to consumption, probe memory continuity, and inspect privacy controls before CompanionScope can publish a score or recommendation.
